Rechner Magento Resistive (MRS)
Rechner Magento Resistive Sensors (MRS) detects the movement of ferromagnetic materials by means of the change of a magnetic flow.
Magento Resistive Sensors are available with (Series 350) or without (Series 300) detection of direction of rotation. These sensors are suitable for rotary speed sensing, for detection of gearwheels and for standstill control. Areas of application use can be extremely rough, with a max switching frequency of 15 kHz.
Rechner Magento Resistive Sensors are capable of operating at extremely high frequencies, making them ideal for rotary speed detection applications. With the option of direction sensing, Rechner MRS can be used for identifying the motion of pistons, electric motors or cogs.
Acting like a magnetic Wheatstone bridge, Rechner magneto resistive sensors reacts to all ferromagnetic materials. The gap or tooth of a gearwheel which passed the active area of the sensor has a different influence on the magnetic field dependent resistor. The change in the magnetic field is transformed to an electrical voltage bridge, which then is filtered and prepared. The overall output signal is a voltage which corresponds to the magnet field change.
